Arbor Drugs was started by Eugene Applebaum in 1974 in Michigan. It went public in 1986 and bought out chains such as Sentry Drugs and M&R.In 1998 CVS acquired Arbor Drugs. Most of the Arbor Drugs stores became CVS.
