Dart Drugs was a drug retailer located in the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area started by Herbert Haft in 1955. At the stores greatest time of expansion they had over 100 stores. In 1984 Dart Drugs was bought by Bud Fantle and in 1987 it was renamed Fantle’s. In 1989 it entered bankruptcy and was eventually dissovled in 1990.
